As an Accounting Officer (AP) each day, you'll be...

    • Process accounts payable transactions and ensure timely payments to vendors and service providers.
    • Verify invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
    • Prepare payment vouchers and payment schedules.
    • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties regarding payment matters.
    • Coordinate with the Bank and other external parties regarding payment and documentation matters.
    • Review employee expense reimbursement claims in accordance with company policies.
    • Reconcile accounts payable balances and vendor statements.
    • Support month-end closing activities and accounting reports.
    • Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
    • Assist with internal and external audit requests.
    • Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

    What we would like you to have...

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • At least 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting functions.
    • Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.
    • Knowledge of accounting principles and taxation requirements.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
    • Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
    • Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
