As an Accounting Officer each day, you'll be…
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain General Ledger (G/L) accounts and ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations, and investigate reconciling items.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare accounting schedules, supporting documents, and reports for financial reporting and management purposes.
- Prepare and file withholding tax returns (PND.3, PND.53, PND.54) and VAT returns (PP.30, PP.36) in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in recording and reconciling insurance-related accounting transactions, including premiums, claims, commissions, reinsurance, and other related transactions, where applicable.
- Coordinate with the Finance, Credit Control, Underwriting, Claims, and other internal departments to ensure accurate and timely accounting records.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
- Perform other duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned by the supervisor.
What we would like you to have...
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Up to 3 years of experience in accounting is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Thai tax regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Fair command of written and spoken English.
