- Design, implement and maintain private / public cloud / containers and VMs server/infrastructure and related platforms such as VMware, GCP, AWS.
- Set up network configuration of infrastructure on cloud.
- Implement, manage and maintain support the automation workflows for deployment “(CI/CD)”.
- Performance management and capacity planning.
- Enable the continuous improvement of structure, processes, tooling to enable the teams to deliver more value.
- Diagnose problems and act in solving complex issues by ensuring that developed fixes are permanent, in the context of a continuous improvement mindset.
- Raise your voice on the Infrastructure design according to the microservices practices.
- Ensure that the infrastructure cost is within the budget.
- Keeping the security of infrastructure up to date and at best practice.
- Provide tools and methods to monitor and alert the overall system uptime and performance.
- Manage a team of DevOps Engineers
Your will need to…
- Have a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology graduate, or similar.
- Strong in DevOps Tools: Jira/Confluence, Git-Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, JMeter, Veracode, Nexus, Sonarcube, AppDynamics
- Familiarity with setting things up and running on cloud service providers, especially AWS.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, large scale software engineering projects and multi cloud environment
- Experience in protecting computers, networks, programs and data from unauthorized access or attacks that are aimed for exploitation.
- Experience in dealing with and supporting multicultural development teams
- Familiarity with virtualization, container management platform, especially VMware (vCenter, vSphere), Docker, Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with continuous deployment methodology and other common DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, Capistrano and configuration tools such as Ansible.
- Familiarity with Logging & Monitoring tools, e.g. CloudWatch, Kibana, Grafana, will be a plus.
- Be able to implement the Infrastructure as a Code, e.g. AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, will be a plus
- Familiarity with Serverless deployment pipeline will be a plus.
- Strong problem‐solving abilities coupled with a desire to take on a challenge
