- Lead, monitor, and manage the performance of the collection team under supervision, from planning to ensuring they achieve the set collection targets.
- Evaluate and validate the daily activities of the collection staff, ensuring the implementation of daily work plans aligns with credit rules, financing laws, and company policies.
- Direct and manage all payment process running well in accordance with applied SOP, Authority Matrix and regulation.
- Work closely with the underwriting and claims teams to ensure seamless reconciliations and dispute resolutions.
- Build strong relationships with agent, brokers, cedents, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient collection payment processes.
- Develop and present regular reports on receivables performance, collections status, and credit risk exposures to senior management.
- Analyze data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and inform strategic decision making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or financial management, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry is highly desirable.
- Expertise in treasury, credit control and accounts receivable management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
