As Unit Head of Finance and Credit Control, each day you'll....

  • Lead, monitor, and manage the performance of the collection team under supervision, from planning to ensuring they achieve the set collection targets.
  • Evaluate and validate the daily activities of the collection staff, ensuring the implementation of daily work plans aligns with credit rules, financing laws, and company policies.
  • Direct and manage all payment process running well in accordance with applied SOP, Authority Matrix and regulation.
  • Work closely with the underwriting and claims teams to ensure seamless reconciliations and dispute resolutions.
  • Build strong relationships with agent, brokers, cedents, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient collection payment processes.
  • Develop and present regular reports on receivables performance, collections status, and credit risk exposures to senior management.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and inform strategic decision making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or financial management, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in treasury, credit control and accounts receivable management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
